At this late stage several people have indicated that they do not require accommodation on the above trip, this throws out our costing somewhat. We now have 2 options,

OPTION 1 16 of us squeeze into 2 8 berth caravans and we cancel/ sell on the 3rd caravan

OPTION 2 We all pay £10 more and spread 16 of us around 3 8 berth caravans. Making this trip £115.00, still excellent value.

I will go for option 2 if I do not hear any objections by 6pm this Monday.

It would be very helpful in the future if people indicate when putting names on the board if they do not require accommodation if the price quoted includes accomm.

Bob and I have been to Littlehampton, the facilities at the marina are excellent, there are clean toilets and showers and even a washing machine, so you put your washing on and pop off for a dive before the spin cycle....

I have telephone numbers etc of B & B but having hunted around the nearest Caravan park which will accommodate our numbers and weekends is the Church Farm - British Holidays at Pagham, which is where we are already booked into.

With this lack of accommodation in mind and thinking ahead to the later May and August Bank holidays, we need to think of booking these soon. Are there any boat handlers available and willing to go on these dates, as lots of the boat handlers are already committed to ST. Ives. Please let me know asap.
